The resumption of Edo University, after Covid-19 lockdown, has been announced by the Management of the school. According to this announcement, the school is set to open on November 16 for a new academic session.
This was made known by the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof Emmanuel Aluyor, in a statement.
According to the VC, the school had concluded its 2019/2020 academic session virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Vice-Chancellor noted that the completion of the 2019/2020 academic session online was in line with the University’s calendar which was hinged on the acquisition and utilisation of the Canvas-Learning Management System:
“Edo University Iyamho is among the very few Universities in the world where academic activities did not shut down because of the Coronavirus pandemic and this is in the belief that the University is set up to finding solutions to new challenges.”
