How to get JAMB ePins & Profile Code for 2019/2020 JAMB Registration

Before JAMB registration for 2019/2020 candidates officially commence this week, here are some pre-registration requirements candidates need to be aware of and steps to get things ready before proceeding to JAMB accredited CBT centers for registration.

JAMB ePIN

First, JAMBites are to note that they need ePIN before they can proceed to online registration at CBT centers.

In the steps shown below you get to know how to get your ePIN.

Important: Please make sure to register for 2019-2020 JAMB at JAMB accredited center. Don’t just register at any cyber cafe.

Steps required before commencing to the main JAMB 2019-2020 registration

Phone Number

Each candidate will be registered with one mobile phone number only. The Cell phone number used to create the profile code is automatically tied to the Candidate’s name and will be used in all communications related to his/her 2019 Application/Examination.

Sending SMS & getting profile code

Candidate sends his/her name [Surname, First Name & Middle Name (if any)] by text (SMS) to 55019. This should be maximum of 38 characters + 2 spaces between names = maximum of 40 characters in all.

A Profile Code is received by the candidate on the same telephone number.

Procurement of JAMB form

The candidate presents the Profile Code to the point of procurement of form (Banks, MMOs, MFBs, Switches, USSD Partners). The form ePIN is then sent as text message to the candidate.

JAMB registration

The candidate presents the ePIN at any JAMB accredited CBT Centre for registration

Please note: You are advised to wait until the registration begins on 10th January before performing any of the procedures above.
