JAMB says 2019 candidates must pass biometric verification before they are allowed into the exam venue.
This information is contained in a weekly bulletin made available to newsmen, yesterday.
In line with this, JAMB has appealed to examination officials and UTME candidates to take note before they find themselves to blame:
“Biometric verification will be the only mode for the admittance of candidates into the examination centre.
“Exemption mode is not allowed for any candidate. Therefore, no biometric verification,no examination,” the board warned.

For a case where a candidate fails to pass the verification process, JAMB warned officials that “no candidate should be kept waiting if he or she cannot be verified, saying such candidate should be directed to contact JAMB.
Why do you think JAMB has made this biometric verification a must? I am thinking it is one of the strategies to fish out impostors who connive with candidates to engage in exam malpractice.
