UNILORIN to hold first National Disability Right Moot Competition
The University of Ilorin, Kwara State faulcty of law has disclosed that arrangements are being made to hold the first national disability right moot competition in the form of an ECOWAS moot court.
The senior programme manager of the disability law advocacy project, Dr Onuora-Oguno said this in a statement on Monday.
A moot court according to sir Onuora, is seen as an imaginary court where law students would be given the privilege of arguing imaginary cases for practice.
He futher explained that the program would be drawn around series of challenges being faced by persons living with one form of disability or the other.
The moot Court is expected to run from the 29th of November to the 3rd of December 2020.
